Day 2 – Apple Holler

Yesterday, 8/21 Darrell & me took my parent’s to Apple Holler in Wisconsin as their anniversary present. It was supposed to be fun, but it was a little disappointing! I mean there were many good things, the goats, the beautiful day, the ice cream, the dinner food etc. But also many not so good things, like the fact that the whole place is covered in weeds, it could be so great, and probably was at one time, but they totally let it go! Plus I wanted to pick apples, but when I heard it was $40, it was like, um, no thanks! Then the show, during dinner, was a little bit on the odd side! I mean we were laughing a lot, but not because it was funny! However, the 4 of us are always able to have a good time, and so we really did! Just think we’ll be doing something different next year! The only really bad part was Darrell and me didn’t get home until 1:30am!! Which wouldn’t be so bad if we wouldn’t have had to get up so early this morning, but that’s a whole other post!
