Book 272 of 500!!

This was probably my favorite book of all time now! Mainly because since this summer I have been completely head over heals obsessed with Elvis Presley!!!! This book was called Last Train To Memphis: The Rise of Elvis Presley by Peter Guralnaky. Normally I read books I love much faster than I read this book, but it took me a lot longer for a few reasons. 1 – I didn’t have as much time to read as I usually do 2- this book is way longer than most books I read 3 – and most importantly I just didn’t want this book to end!!!! The good thing I found out as I was reading this book is that it’s only part 1!!!!! So this was the story of Elvis from the time he was born until the time he went into the Army! Part 2 will be his time in the army until his untimely death in 1977. I can’t wait to read the rest, but I Know the 2nd book will be a much sadder read then the first part was.
